Franciscans of St. Mary of the Angels

St. Mary of the Angels Convent High School, Chinchinim, a Catholic Minority Institution, was established in 1966 and is recognized by the Directorate of education, Goa Board of secondary and Higher Secondary Education. It is under the Management of the Franciscan Sisters of St. Mary of the Angels, a Congregation founded in France in 1871 to reach out to the needs of people in areas of education, health, socio-pastoral activities, etc. particularly of the poor and underprivileged. Managing schools in several states in India, the Franciscan Sisters of S.M.A accept responsibility in assisting parents in the all-round education of the child - moral, academic, social and physical. Such an education is imparted in a spirit of LOVE and SERVICE, the motto of the school.
